Born in 1949 at Aruviyodu in Thiruvananthapuram Madhusoodhanan Nair took to writing poetry while at school. His first collection “Naranathu Bhranthan’ was published in 1992. He is the recipient of Kerala Sahithya Akademy Award. Now, as a retired professor (Head of the Department of Malayalam, St. Xavier’s College, Thiruvananthapuram), he devotes his time to literary works.
